Can please someone give me some suggestions as to what kind of book cover you people would prefer:
1) A graphic illustration
2) A Photographic
3) A text-based
or any medium you have in mind. And also, please tell me what should we depict on the cover i.e a potrait of a girl or woman or something more symbolic i.e a mendhi on girl's hand or something? Where are the graphic designers from our group? And where's Usman? Please reply asap.

Could we have a photographic cover and have the word Bol (in Urdu script) somewhat faded in the background...? Graphic Designers:) do your work... Why don't you make some designs of your own, post them on the blog and we can vote on the one that we like best:)
And elaborate on what you mean by the "text" based cover....
And in btw:
Is it necessary that we have women on the cover? I mean, I know it was a competition for that...but I wonder if some people would just get turned off by that sort of labeling...
Let the readers at least pick up the book and find out for themselves what the book is about... not give them the impression that it would be sad book about oppression of Pakistani women...because the stories were more than that.
I completely agree with mariam...a photograpic one would look really good...but i don't exactly like the idea of the text thing,maybe we should wait for the title to come up....and i like the henna on a girl's hand as well...
